We Are Not Simply Treating Symptoms: We Are Treating The Craniofacial Complex
Many adults presenting with airway or breathing concerns have experienced decades of adaptation. We use a multidisciplinary, diagnostic-first approach to identify the root cause and find the most predictable path to long-term stability.
This Is Not A Fast Cosmetic Fix
Poor breathing, airway restriction, dysfunctional swallowing, poor tongue posture, and jaw imbalance can gradually influence jaw development, facial structure, tooth wear, and TMJ function. By adulthood, these are rarely isolated problems; they become part of a complex craniofacial system adaptation.
We do not believe in quick fixes. The solution is rarely one appliance or one single discipline. Better diagnosis leads to better outcomes. We aim to understand why this happened before deciding what is the best treatment approach.
The Diagnostic Package
Dr Aston Parmar explains exactly what our comprehensive diagnostic package involves and why this deep dive is an essential first step before any treatment begins.

Understand First. Treat Second.
Every adult craniofacial rehabilitation journey begins with our comprehensive diagnostic process.
Clinical Assessment & Facial Analysis
We assess facial balance, smile aesthetics, function, jaw relationships, breathing history, and signs of compensation. High-quality clinical photography and digital scanning form the foundation of our assessment.
Digital Scans & Advanced Imaging
Where clinically indicated, we utilise digital intraoral scans, X-rays, and CBCT (3D imaging) to assess bone support, airway anatomy, skeletal relationships, and jaw asymmetry.
Functional Jaw Analysis (Modjaw)
Traditional dentistry relies on static records. Using 4D jaw movement technology, we analyse your jaw function dynamically, evaluating real jaw movement, joint mechanics, and occlusion in motion.
Bite Deprogramming
Because adult bites have often compensated over years, we may temporarily deprogram muscle patterns using a Kois Deprogrammer to reveal true bite relationships and functional interferences.
Sleep Assessment
Where indicated, multi-night sleep testing provides meaningful information regarding breathing quality, oxygen variation, and potential sleep-disordered breathing patterns, helping us understand how sleep influences craniofacial health.
Multidisciplinary Team Planning
Complex adult rehabilitation is planned collaboratively. Our team includes orthodontics, restorative dentistry, myofunctional therapy, and functional rehabilitation planning. Many perspectives. One personalised plan.

Why Asura Is Different
We believe exceptional outcomes begin with exceptional diagnosis. We combine advanced digital scanning, 4D jaw movement technology, functional analysis, and multidisciplinary expertise.
This creates a level of diagnosis and precision that allows us to treat the entire craniofacial complex, rather than just isolated symptoms.
- Diagnosis first, treatment second
- Advanced 4D jaw tracking (Modjaw)
- Multidisciplinary case planning
- Airway-informed treatment strategies
Complex problems deserve comprehensive diagnosis.
If you are seeking a long-term solution for airway concerns, bite collapse, or craniofacial imbalance, start with a proper assessment.
