Jim's Transformation

"Unhappy with partial dentures and failing remaining teeth."

Jim was very unhappy and self-conscious about his teeth. He had partial dentures in the upper and lower arches and the remaining teeth had a hopeless prognosis and needed to be extracted. Jim came to see me to have a fixed solution, therefore the first thing we did was to replace the dentures with temporary fixed bridges. This immediately improved Jim's quality of life.

Over the course of a year, Jim's mouth was restored so that in the end, he had 8 implants in the upper arch and 8 implants in the lower arch with a 12-tooth bridge in each arch.

The implants were placed systematically so that I could always provide Jim with fixed temporary teeth and he never had to have anything removable again.

Jim wanted his teeth to be very natural and age appropriate so some staining was added to the teeth.

His new teeth gave him the confidence to smile and the ability to eat so he could function without being self conscious.

A fixed, natural-looking, fully functional smile.
