"Cracked upper right central incisor and old veneers."
The Journey
Jude had some old veneers on the upper teeth and the upper right central incisor was cracked and unfortunately needed to be extracted.
She decided that as well as an implant to replace the front tooth, she would also have her old veneers replaced.
The tooth was extracted, and the bone and gum were allowed to heal for 6 months. During this period a temporary tooth was attached to the adjacent temporary veneers.
When the implant was placed a healing period of 8 weeks was needed prior to fitting a provisional crown to mould the gum to the correct contour.
The veneers and final crown were made at the same time so they all matched. Jude was really pleased with the end result of the treatment and her new smile.
