Bob's Transformation
A journey to a healthier, more confident smile.

The Patient Concern
"Failing, discoloured old metal-porcelain crowns with bacterial leakage."
The Journey
Bob had full mouth restoration over 15 years before he came to me. The older porcelain had lost its glaze and was a creamy colour. The crowns were made with metal and porcelain, and they had begun to fail. Their mode of failure is to allow bacterial leakage between the crown and the tooth.
All the old restorations were removed and replaced with temporary crowns so that the microleakage could be stopped. The bite was stabilised, and the temporary restorations were replaced with metal free porcelain crowns.
The Outcome
A stable bite with fresh, modern porcelain crowns.
