Irene's Transformation

"Worn teeth, mismatched colour, and off-centre upper teeth."

Irene wanted to improve the function of her teeth and the appearance of her smile. She was aware the teeth were worn, the colour of her natural teeth was darker than the two front crowns and the upper teeth were offset from the centre of the lip and this bothered Irene.

After all the necessary diagnostics, the crowns were removed from the front teeth, any decay and fillings were removed from the other teeth and temporary crowns and veneers were placed.

Surgery was carried out on the bone around the front of the teeth to change the contour so that the new restorations could be positioned so they were more centred in the lips.

An implant was placed to replace a missing molar on the lower left and side and the rest of the teeth were restored with porcelain crowns and veneers. The bite was opened as part of the treatment which meant the proportion of the lower face was also improved.

Irene was really overjoyed with her new smile.
