Kevin's Transformation

"Underbite, chipping teeth, and lack of lip support."

Kevin was conscious of his 'underbite' and he was worried that the teeth were chipping and breaking. He was also conscious that he did not have much lip support. He wanted to improve the health and appearance of his teeth.

Kevin was offered orthodontic treatment as part of the improvement, but he decided he didn't want braces.

The restorative treatment involved raising the bite by increasing the height of the lower back teeth so that the overlap of the lower front teeth over the upper teeth was resolved.

The old fillings and any decay were removed, and the teeth were restored with beautiful porcelain restorations.

The result of opening the bite meant the proportions of the lower face were improved. The extra thickness of the upper teeth from the porcelain improved the lip support.

The outcome of the treatment was that Kevin had the improvements in his teeth, smile, function and facial appearance.
